I Gotta Be Me
Hey there! I'm Erica, the owner of Salon 87. One of the first things you may notice when meeting me is my self expression. The freedom to have tattoos, piercings, and blue hair was one of the biggest reasons I became a hair stylist. It, of course, was so appealing after spending my early twenties working in banking and cardiology (big change, right??)

I am originally from New York, but I love Oklahoma City! My husband and I chose to move here simply because we liked it- no other reason. We have all boys, so I revel in some girl time at work! Large parts of my personality involve movie quotes and me laughing at my own puns. As much as I consider myself an artist, I tend to be more on the left-brained side of things. I am actually so analytical, I named my Salon after numerology in my own birthday. Fun Fact: I was born 8/7/87 at 8:07AM, and I was 8 lbs. 7 oz.
Yup, a Leo...from New York. I am loud, energetic, and direct. Often times, you'll wonder why I'm drinking coffee all day since I clearly don't need it. (haha!) My Policies
Most of these policies are common sense, but I ask that you read and abide by them at all times.

DIY hair color: I am a colorist. I do not take on clients who choose to do at home color services.

Children: I am happy to provide non-chemical services to children 12 years and under if they are a child of a current client (provided they behave in a respectful manner.)
-Single process, semi-permanent or temporary color is available to children ages 12 and up with a signed consent from a parent or guardian.
-Permanent or double process color is available to 13 and up with a signed consent from a parent/guardian
-If you are receiving any service, your child can not be without supervision in the salon
-If you are receiving any chemical process no children may accompany you to your appointment. Please ensure arrangements are made prior to scheduling.
-The salon has many hazardous materials, and children are not permitted to play on chairs, run around, or touch any tools. If any such behavior occurs, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment, and a cancellation fee may apply.

Cancellation Policy: I require a minimum of 24 hours prior to the appointment time to be notified if you can not keep your appointment
-Each service has it's own cancellation fee depending on the amount of time that was scheduled.
-In the event of a last minute cancellation, an invoice will be sent to the email address on file. This invoice will need to be paid in full in order to rebook any future appointments.
-In the event you are not feeling well, please do not keep your appointment. Any and all fees will be waved.
-If you arrive at your appointment feeling unwell, the service will be stopped (regardless of how far along we are), and you will be asked to reschedule. A cancellation fee may apply in this scenario, so it is better to stay home if you are unwell.
